Why not set yourself a challenge and train for the 3rd Blackwater 10K. 

This major sports and recreational event has proven over the past two years to be a 'must go' event for runners and walkers of all abilities attracting participants from both near and far.  Commencing at Monaghan United Grounds, the route proceeds into nearby Rossmore Forest Park for a scenic tour through the largest public park in Co Monaghan. 

A fun and rewarding day is guaranteed with family fun entertainment, souvenir medal and t-shirt for all participants.

Behind The Walls  - Caledon & Tynan Estates Walk

Saturday 8 May 2010,

registration 11am at Caledon Courthouse.  .

 

This memorable guided walking event lets you explore the beautiful part of the Blackwater Region.  This unique walk lets you discover the Estates of Caledon and Tynan Abbey that are closed to the public through-out the year, except on this special day.

For those who prefer a leisurely stroll enjoy a short walk on Caledon Estate and for the more challenging walker explore both Tynan and Caledon Estates. 

Cost:- £10 per person, includes refreshments with proceeds in aid of the Royal National Institute of Blind People.
