 WISH TO STUDY – LANDSCAPE GARDENING?  

 

Have you a flair for design, a passion for gardens and that practical touch to develop a new skill that can enhance your employment opportunities or enjoy sharing your knowledge learnt with others? 

 

If so, why not take advance of a new exciting Landscaping Training Programme being developed and delivered by Blackwater Regional Partnership.

 

The programme is available to people working or wishing to work in the industry either as their own business or seeking employment with someone else.  The training seeks to develop your skills draw plans for designing, planting and maintenance.  The course is being run every Thursday from 10am to 1pm for 15 weeks, 3 miles from Aughnacloy at Blackwater Life-Long Learning Centre and local amenity centre near by.  Your training will involve be practical & theory designing, planting and working as part of a team to transform a local amenity site.  This training is part of a large project known as Culture along the Blackwater being delivered by the partnership.  The project is funded the International Fund for Ireland and is managed by the Northern Ireland Rural Development Council (RDC), under the Integrating Communities Programme.   

 

The course has been developed to Level 5 FTEC/NVQ standard where you will receive a fully accredited certificate on completion.
