In the Blackwater Region four exiting new Eco Trails have been developed. ‘Eco Trails’ provide an opportunity for young people to develop an awareness appreciation and understanding of, and responsibility to, their local natural and built environment by taking part in an environmental trail linked to the sport of orienteering. So why not take a walk on the wild side as a family or a group take the opportunity to look, see, hear and touch the wonders of the environment. Deep in the woodland, you can learn about the history of the area, types of trees and wild flowers which appear at all different seasons. Discover our eco trails at:
